To all readers and observers,
We wish to clarify the position of the UK Apologetics Library regarding recent protests outside facilities linked to the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light (AROPL).
The UK Apologetics Library does not support, encourage, or participate in violence, intimidation, harassment, threats, or aggressive demonstrations directed at members of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light. Our work is rooted in Christian principles, which require us to oppose such conduct. While we strongly disagree with the teachings, claims, and leadership structure of the movement, we do not believe that hostility or personal confrontation toward individuals is the correct or effective response.
Our focus has always centred on examining teachings, public claims, historical evidence, leadership accountability, and the potential impact of those beliefs on followers. These substantive concerns should be addressed through documented evidence, rigorous research, public scrutiny, objective journalism, open discussion, and lawful investigation by appropriate authorities, not through aggression.
We wholeheartedly condemn any behavior that places individuals at risk or creates an atmosphere of fear.
Aggressive protests risk producing the opposite effect of what critics intend. They allow groups to portray themselves primarily as victims of persecution, shifting public attention away from legitimate, factual questions regarding doctrine, leadership claims, failed predictions, organizational history, or the recorded experiences of former members.
When public discussion becomes focused on hostile behavior by opponents, the core issues become secondary. The strongest approach is to allow the public records, official court dockets, and verified evidence to speak for themselves, encouraging a careful examination of the historical record and the movement’s own published teachings.
Our objective is not to target individuals, but to encourage informed scrutiny of claims and to promote transparency, accountability, and public awareness through verified research.
