Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq, Jan. 1, 2025 By AimanAbir18plus – Own work, CC BY 4.0, Wikipedia
For years, we at the UK Apologetics Library have stood as a watchman against the rising tide of false prophets and deceptive “new” revelations. Today, we must address one of the most audacious claims of our time: the supposed divine appointment of Abdullah Hashem (Aba Al-Sadiq) and his “Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light”. Despite the glossy production of his books The Mahdi’s Manifesto and The Goal of the Wise, a closer look reveals a house built on sand, not on the Rock of Truth.
1. Not Divinely Appointed: The Mirage of the “Will”
Abdullah Hashem bases his entire claim to authority on a single document: the “Will of Prophet Mohammed,” which he asserts names him as a successor. He claims to be the “Companion of Egypt” foretold in Shia traditions, an “Egyptian-American” hybrid messenger for a hybrid age.
However, this “divine successorship” is a self-serving interpretation. Orthodox scholars and serious researchers have long exposed the manipulation of these texts. Hashem claims that no one in history has claimed authority through this Will until now, but his “new religion” is nothing more than a cocktail of recycled Gnosticism, Shia eschatology, and New Age mysticism. True divine appointment is confirmed by signs and wonders that align with the eternal Word of God, not by a “Synthesis of conversations” compiled into a modern book.
2. Not the Successor to Jesus: The “Spirit of Truth” Delusion
In The Goal of the Wise, Hashem identifies himself and his predecessor, Ahmed Al-Hassan, as the “Spirit of Truth” promised by Jesus in the Gospels. They claim to be the “Seventh Covenant,” the final and complete word that clarifies 2,000 years of “incomplete” scripture.
This is a direct affront to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Bible is clear: the Spirit of Truth is the Holy Spirit, not a man from Egypt or Iraq claiming to be “God in Creation”. By claiming that the original scriptures were “disembodied” or “incomplete,” Hashem attempts to undermine the authority of the Bible to make room for his own “Gospel”. Jesus warned that many would come in His name saying “I am he,” and Abdullah Hashem is the latest in a long line of those who seek to lead the faithful astray.
3. Not from the Most High: The Error of Reincarnation and “Soul Families”
Hashem’s teachings on “Raj’a” (reincarnation) and “Soul Families” are perhaps his most dangerous departures from the truth. He claims that souls can reincarnate into humans, animals, or even stones, and that he can “look at a person’s face” to tell who they were in a past life. He even claims that the “Mohammedan soul” can replicate itself into twin souls, allowing him and Ahmed Al-Hassan to be “one and the same”.
These are not the teachings of the Most High God. They are a rejection of the finality of judgment and the uniqueness of the human soul. God’s Word says it is appointed for man to die once, and after that, the judgment (Hebrews 9:27). Hashem’s claims of being “God in Creation” and having “no will except God’s will” are nothing short of blasphemous arrogance.
Conclusion: A Warning to the Seekers
Abdullah Hashem promises a “Divine Just State” and a return to “Eden,” but his path leads away from the Creator. He claims to bring “more transparency” to the heavens, yet his followers are led into a maze of “unseen cosmic forces,” Jinn, and extraterrestrial life that distract from the simple truth of the Gospel.
Do not be deceived by the “Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light.” Abdullah Hashem is not sent from God; he is a man who has “standardized” his own version of truth to gain power over the souls of men. We urge all readers to reject this false messenger and return to the true, unchanging light of God’s Word.
