Soul Survivor is an “youth church” based in Watford, Hertfordshire which began in 1993. It’s origins were in St. Andrews Church, Chorleywood where it’s leader Mike Pilavachi was previously the youth leader. Mike Pilavachi is a founding partner of the ecumenical Hope 2008.
Like Todd Bentley, Mike Pilavachi has in the past promoted false prophet William Branham to his congregation. William Branham denied the trinity stated it was of the devil.
In candid remarks in March 2007, Pilavachi admitted fornication and drunkenness by members of his church in a interview broadcast on St. Paul Theological Center’s GodPod.
He says (at 29.20 mins into the mp3):
“I just discovered recently MySpace, because they’re all [his congregation] into MySpace so I thought I better have a look. So I started looking and looked at what people wrote. And they would write on one person’s MySpace “oh wasn’t church wonderful, I really met the Lord, sensed the Spirit of God on me.” Then I’d click to others and on the same day they’d write to someone else’s MySpace, “oh Friday night, great night, got off with this girl, got absolutely plastered (drunk that is).”
This is the sad fruit of the seeker friendly charismatic movement. Failing to preach law, sin and judgement to come (hell) before the good news of the cross – genuine repentance does not take place and church attendants continue in their sins (as inoculated false converts).
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
I am aware that some years ago Soul Survivor applied to Watford Council for a license to sell alcohol from their premises on the Greycaine Industrial Estate, Watford on a Friday night.
