Introduction

The Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light (AROPL) is a modern pseudo-Islamic cult that has emerged with bold, deceptive claims. Its primary figureheads, Ahmed Al-Hassan and Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq, present themselves as divine representatives fulfilling end-time prophecy. Their ideology seeks to merge Qur’anic eschatology with corrupted interpretations of the Bible in order to justify their spiritual and political dominion. However, as this thesis demonstrates, their teachings are a blasphemous affront to the person and work of Jesus Christ, the final revelation of God to mankind (Hebrews 1:1–2). This series of theological articles will dissect their claims, refute them biblically, and expose the spiritual danger they represent.

Article 1: The Heresy of False Apostleship – Refuting the Claims of Divine Appointment

Their Claim

Ahmed Al-Hassan and Abdullah Hashem claim to be divinely appointed ‘Proofs of God,’ with Ahmed asserting himself as the rightful Mahdi and a vicegerent of divine will.

Biblical Response

Scripture is unambiguous: God has spoken definitively through His Son, Jesus Christ (Hebrews 1:1–2). No further apostleship or vicegerency is necessary or valid. The Christian canon is closed, and the revelation complete.

Paul’s warning in Galatians 1:8–9 delivers a sobering curse upon anyone who preaches another gospel, even if from an angel. Ahmed Al-Hassan’s “Seventh Covenant” and “The Goal of the Wise” are precisely such perversions.

Further, Jude 3 asserts that the faith was once for all delivered to the saints, requiring vigilance in preserving orthodoxy, not innovating new creeds.

Theological Significance

The claim to divine office outside the established apostleship is not only presumptuous but diabolical. The antichrist spirit always seeks to usurp the authority of Christ and displace the sufficiency of Scripture. Ahmed Al-Hassan is a clear manifestation of this spirit.

Article 2: The False Gospel of the ‘Seventh Covenant’ – A Denial of Biblical Authority

Analysis of ‘The Goal of the Wise’

This is the principal text within AROPL. It proposes a new mystical gospel that contradicts and supersedes the Bible. This is heresy.

The Bible alone is the inspired Word of God. As 2 Timothy 3:16 proclaims, Scripture is sufficient for teaching, correction, and instruction in righteousness. The so-called ‘Seventh Covenant’ introduces a new system of salvation, thereby nullifying the cross of Christ.

Condemnation of Extra-Biblical Revelation

This mirrors ancient Gnosticism, which exalted hidden knowledge above divine revelation. Paul’s rebuke in Colossians 2:8 against ‘philosophy and empty deceit’ perfectly applies to AROPL’s esoteric teachings.

This cult’s teachings undermine the eternal gospel of Romans 1:16, which is the power of God unto salvation for all who believe—not for those who pursue mystical initiations.

Article 3: Apocalyptic Deception – Misusing Islamic and Biblical Prophecy

False Interpretations

AROPL hinges its validity on speculative signs such as the death of King Abdullah and symbolic dreams. This is a misapplication of apocalyptic literature both in Islamic and Christian traditions.

Biblical Clarity

Jesus warned in Matthew 24:5, 24 that many will come claiming messianic titles and deceive even the elect if possible. The deceptive use of prophecy is one of Satan’s oldest tricks.

Biblical eschatology centres on Christ’s physical return (Revelation 1:7) and the triumph of His kingdom—not secretive spiritual leaders claiming succession.

Refutation by Fulfilled Prophecy

Unlike Ahmed Al-Hassan, Jesus fulfilled over 300 prophecies, including Isaiah 53, Micah 5:2, and Daniel 9:26. The credibility of a prophet is tested by their alignment with God’s Word and fulfilled signs (Deuteronomy 18:22). Ahmed has failed both tests.

Article 4: Cultism and Authoritarianism – The Dangerous Structure of AROPL

Characteristics of a Cult

AROPL exhibits all hallmarks of a spiritually abusive sect:

  • Authoritarian leadership: Questioning the FHIP is forbidden.
  • Enforced migration: Followers are relocated to isolate them from families and society.
  • Mystical schooling: The “School of Divine Mysteries” indoctrinates members using pseudo-academic jargon.
  • Militant imagery: Black banners and violent rhetoric evoke a jihadist spirit.

Biblical Warning

2 Peter 2:1–3 warns of false teachers who exploit with deceptive words and bring destructive heresies. Their judgment is certain.

Matthew 7:15–20 instructs believers to test the fruit. AROPL’s fruit is fear, control, and deception—not the righteousness, peace, and joy of the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17).

Article 5: Christ’s Supremacy and the Infallibility of Scripture

Christ is Supreme

Jesus Christ is the Alpha and Omega (Revelation 22:13). All authority has been given to Him in heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18–20). Any claim to a divine vicegerent is not just unnecessary—it is blasphemous.

Scripture is Final

Revelation 22:18–19 forbids adding or subtracting from Scripture. The ‘Seventh Covenant’ and the writings of Ahmed Al-Hassan violate this divine command.

Christ’s work on the cross is final (John 19:30), His resurrection indisputable (1 Corinthians 15:3–8), and His return glorious and visible—not shrouded in mysticism or confined to a hidden imam.

Article 6: Refuting the Claim that Christ Has Already Returned

Christ Alone is the Fulfilment

Isaiah 53 identifies the suffering servant as Jesus Christ, not a future “vicegerent” or spiritual heir. His mission was redemptive, not merely political or mystical.

Daniel 9:26 prophesies the cutting off of the Anointed One, which was fulfilled in Jesus’ crucifixion—not in a hidden or allegorical appearance centuries later.

Matthew 28:18–20 affirms Christ’s universal and continuing authority, leaving no theological room for any subsequent spiritual representative to take His place.

Refuting the False Claim: “The Return Has Already Occurred”

The Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light falsely claims that the Return of Christ has already taken place spiritually through the appearance of their leaders. This mirrors earlier heresies such as Preterism and the claims of groups like the Baháʼí and Ahmadiyya sects.

  1. Revelation 1:7 states: “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him.” This speaks of a visible, bodily return witnessed by all—not a secret, spiritualised arrival through a hidden imam or mystical claimant.
  2. Acts 1:11: The angels declare that “this same Jesus…shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.” The same resurrected, glorified Christ who ascended will return visibly, not symbolically through another man.
  3. Matthew 24:27 warns, “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Christ’s return will be sudden, unmistakable, and global—not secretive or hidden behind spiritual allegory.

By denying the visible and glorious second coming of Christ, AROPL undermines foundational Christian eschatology and perpetuates a false hope in a counterfeit redeemer. Such teachings are not merely misinformed—they are spiritually dangerous.

Final Return in Glory

2 Thessalonians 1:7–10 makes it clear that Jesus will return “in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God.” This climactic, world-altering return cannot be reduced to an allegory or spiritually fulfilled office.

Revelation 19:11–16 describes the triumphant return of Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords, leading the armies of heaven—not a spiritual successor of unclear lineage or mystical reinterpretation.

Conclusion

Jesus Christ is not represented or reincarnated in any subsequent figure. He alone fulfils messianic prophecy, and He alone will return as Judge, Redeemer, and King. The teaching that He has already returned through Ahmed Al-Hassan or Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq is a gross distortion of Scripture and should be utterly rejected.

Article 7: A Call to Discernment and Repentance

Biblical Mandate for Discernment

1 John 4:1 urges believers to test every spirit. AROPL fails that test. 2 Thessalonians 2:10–12 warns of strong delusion for those who do not love the truth. Those seduced by AROPL’s lies are under this judgment unless they repent.

Call to the Church

Acts 20:29–30 commands shepherds to guard the flock against wolves in sheep’s clothing. Church leaders must be bold in denouncing heresy and compassionate in rescuing the deceived.

The Gospel Stands

Christ died for sinners, rose bodily, and is coming again. He alone offers peace and light—not through esoteric schools, but through the simple gospel of grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8–9).

Final Declaration: The Light Has Come

The Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light is a deception from the pit of hell. It enthrones false apostles, distorts prophecy, and replaces the cross of Christ with mystical darkness.

Jesus Christ is the Light of the World (John 8:12). All who follow Him will not walk in darkness. There is no other Saviour, no other Gospel, and no other Vicegerent.

To those entrapped in AROPL: come out, repent, and believe the true gospel.

To the Church: rise up, speak truth, and contend earnestly for the faith.
