Exposing the False Christs and Doctrinal Threat of Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq and Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan
1. Theological Summary of Their Claims
The Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light presents itself as a divinely-ordained fulfilment of end-time prophecies across Abrahamic traditions. It claims that:
- Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan is the “Yamani” and vicegerent (proof) of God,
- Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq is his successor and soul-son,
- This “new religion” was prophesied by the household of Muhammad,
- Divine knowledge and appointment prove their legitimacy,
- They fulfil Islamic, Judaic, and Christian eschatological hopes.
This narrative claims continuity with Scripture while fundamentally contradicting it. It seeks legitimacy by borrowing language from biblical prophecy and mimicking the authority structure found in Scripture. Yet, the system itself is pseudo-messianic, gnostic, and apocalyptic in a manipulative and unbiblical way.
2. Biblical Evaluation: Why This Is Heresy
a. The Finality of Christ
Jesus Christ is the last and final revelation of God to humanity. To suggest that God is appointing a new vicegerent today is a direct assault on the supremacy of Christ.
“In these last days, [God] has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things…”
— Hebrews 1:2
“For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
— Colossians 2:9
No divine figure or spiritual movement can arise after Christ and lay claim to universal rulership, divine appointment, or final authority. Christ alone is the fulfilment of prophecy (Matthew 5:17), the heir of the nations (Psalm 2), and the judge of all mankind (John 5:22).
b. A Different Gospel is Anathema
Paul warns with absolute clarity:
“If anyone preaches another gospel than the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.”
— Galatians 1:8
The Ahmadi message is not the gospel. It adds to Scripture, changes the path to salvation, and elevates men to messianic status.
c. The Spirit of Antichrist
John writes:
“Every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God… this is that spirit of antichrist.”
— 1 John 4:3
The Ahmadi movement denies the uniqueness and sufficiency of Jesus Christ by claiming that another representative of God is required. This is a hallmark of the spirit of antichrist—to divert worship, obedience, and eschatological hope away from Christ.
3. The Danger of Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq and Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan
These men are not just mistaken; they are theologically dangerous for several reasons:
a. They Preach a False Salvation
Their “roadmap” to God is based on secret knowledge, divine appointment, and allegiance to a human vicegerent, not repentance and faith in the crucified and risen Christ. This misleads souls into eternal damnation (John 14:6; Acts 4:12).
b. They Recycle Gnostic and Cultic Claims
Their religion rests on esoteric revelation, secret wills, and divine hierarchies—similar to Gnostic heresies condemned by the early church. Their structure mirrors cults where salvation is only found by following the leader who claims divine status.
c. They Incite Eschatological Radicalism
Their emphasis on being the fulfilment of “end-time” prophecy creates an apocalyptic fervour, fostering spiritual elitism and potential fanaticism—traits shared by other destructive sects such as:
- David Koresh (Branch Davidians) – Claimed to be the Lamb of Revelation; led his followers to a fiery death in Waco, Texas.
- Sun Myung Moon (Unification Church) – Claimed to be the Messiah sent to finish Jesus’ work.
- Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (Founder of the Ahmadiyya Movement) – Claimed to be the Mahdi and Messiah but denied the finality of Jesus Christ.
- José Luis de Jesús Miranda – Claimed to be both Jesus Christ and the Antichrist in one person, leading many into spiritual delusion.
These individuals all shared the same tactics: redefine prophecy, elevate themselves as divine agents, isolate their followers, and undermine biblical authority.
4. Apostolic Warnings and Pastoral Mandate
Paul’s pastoral charge to the church is more urgent than ever in light of such deception:
“Preach the word… For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine… and shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”
— 2 Timothy 4:2–4
“Mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.”
— Romans 16:17
These men must be marked and avoided. Their message is not merely incorrect—it is spiritually lethal.
5. Christ Will Not Be Replaced
The true eschatological hope is not in a Mahdi or a Yamani or a Qaim. It is in the visible, bodily return of Jesus Christ, the Son of God:
“This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner…”
— Acts 1:11
Until then, we look not for a secret redeemer, but for the blessed hope:
“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.”
— Titus 2:13
Conclusion: A Call to Discernment and Faithfulness
The Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light is a rebranded cult of deception. It imitates prophecy, usurps Christ’s authority, and draws spiritually vulnerable people into darkness. As ambassadors of Christ, we must speak plainly and without fear: this is not the truth. This is another gospel, and those who proclaim it, knowingly or unknowingly, stand under the curse of God (Galatians 1:8–9).
Let every believer be sober-minded, watchful, and grounded in the unchanging truth of Scripture. Let us “earnestly contend for the faith once delivered unto the saints” (Jude 3), and proclaim Christ alone as King, Saviour, and Judge.
